FLORAL MARQUEE:

Exhibits in the Floral Marquee are judged to standards laid down by the Royal Horticultural Society. In recent years the judges have included Anne Swithenbank of television fame, and David Hitchcock - former President of the Chelsea Flower Show. Exhibitors include local nurseries, garden centres, gardens open to the public, the Perennial Gardeners Royal Benevolent Society and stands featuring single plant groups, including alpines, fuschias, geraniums, hardy plants, carnivorous plants, orchids and sweet peas. In addition to displaying, exhibitors usually sell plants as well. And at 5pm on the Sunday, when the stands are dismantled, you might well be able to snap up a bargain.
